In this podcast we are getting real deep and emotionally invested in our effort to review HBO’s Peacemaker and we don’t care how many men, women and children it takes to do it! This follow up to James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad has been a surprise hit considering it follows the ongoing adventures of the least likeable character from said film. So now it’s time we found out if it’s actually any good, or if it’s just the intro song and dance number we have fallen in love with.

Peta, Jill, Dion and Quinny make up this new squad of Task-force X badasses, which one will be carving a dove of peace into their conversational weapons of choice? Listen in to find out…

A weirdly muscled and blood spattered thank you to all the inmates of Podcast-Force-X who have been forcibly press-ganged each week into defending our live-chat during the Twitch stream! Join us each Tuesday night at 7:30pm to get in on the action.

An extra huge thanks goes to our badass support crew who have been kind enough to financially bolster this podcast via our Ko-Fi jar and now also by subscribing on Twitch!

If you like what we do, drop us a sub!  Every bit of your support helps us to keep the home fires going strong!

Don’t fret if you can’t be there for the recording though as you can catch them on Youtube usually later that very night. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss them!

Not the show you thought it was going to be.
James Gunn continues to make bold choices that everyone else would avoid like the plague. And in doing so, sets himself apart from the rest of the directorial pack. Peacemaker is so much better than it has any right to be.

Doves of Peace
Cena is convincing as a complete asshole who is learning not to be
Excellent ensemble cast with incredible comic timing all round
It's funny, action packed, intelligent and surprisingly nuanced
Butterflies of Death
It's still about an asshole character and some stuff is pretty low-brow
There aren't many really likeable characters to cling to in this show
If violence and Body horror isn't your bag, then this won't do much for you
