TPToA Podcast 271 – Everything Everywhere All At Once

A smorgasbord of multiversal insanity
On less than about a tenth of the budget of Dr Strange, this multiverse story is more creative, more bizarre and more emotionally impactful that its big budget bretheren.

Waymond's wonders
A rollicking ride through multiple realities and personalities
An amazing cast being used to their absolute best
Visually astonishing and frenetic in it's pace and creativity
Jobu Tabacco
It's a bit long and possibly could lose a bit of flab somewhere in there
The silliness and crassness may be too much for some viewers
If you aren't following it closely it WILL lose you.

AWESOME

This review is about Everything Everywhere All At Once… yeah that pretty much covers it. The film stars Michelle Yeoh as Evelyn, a Chinese-American woman being audited by the IRS who is told by an alternate universe version of her husband Waymond, that she must connect with other parallel universe versions of herself, to prevent a powerful being from causing the destruction of the multiverse. It’s got sausages, raccoons, google eyes, and a truly “Everything Bagel”.  It’s a LOT.

Dion is the embodiment of Everything, Peta is Everywhere, and of course Quinny is happening all at once… but he’s not proud.

A huge thank you to every version of you from every universe for joining in on this universe’s live-chat during the Twitch stream  this week and every week each Tuesday night.. everywhere, all at once.  If you haven’t done so before join in our universe, 7:30pm next Tuesday to be a part of the fun.
