TPToA Podcast 274 – Made For Love

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, It also probably doesn’t insert a chip in your head and then monitor your emotions and orgasms while looking out though your actual frigging eyes. Love is not a creepy-ass, manipulative, billionaire tech-mogul. And thankfully nor are we!

Peta has suggested this dark sci-fi comedy for us to peruse and Quinny and Jill have strapped in for the bizarre and disturbing ride!

Made for Love is an adaptation based on the tragicomic novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. The series follows Hazel Green, a thirtysomething woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to an unstable, needy, possibly sociopathic tech billionaire. Soon she discovers that her husband has already implanted a revolutionary monitoring device – the Made for Love – in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her, and know her thoughts and feelings as she tries to stay alive. “
