Fire up the Guns ‘n Roses folks because this movie that looks like the airbrushed side of a panel van is coming your way, screaming goats, flying boats, Magical-Hammer envy and everything in between. it’s Thor: Love and Thunder!
Is it, as Mark Kermode has referenced it, “The best mounted turd I’ve ever seen”? Or is it a knockabout space comedy romp with a heart of gold?
Jill, Peta and Quinny are the pantheon of Gods and Goddesses laying forth their judgement on this film and all you mortals should tremble at their awesome (vaguely pixelated) countenances.
As always, a massive God-like thanks goes to our Marvel-ous community of Deities, Celestials and Demi-Gods from numerous different universes who join in with the conversation on the Twitch stream, live and loud each Tuesday night at 7:30pm AEST. And an especially huge thanks to any of you kind enough to support us by chucking a tip in our jar via Ko-Fi, or subscribing on twitch… every bit helps us get better at giving you more!
If you feel so inclined to drop the sub-hammer…please feel free! The more subs we get the more Emotes You get! Every bit of your support helps us to keep our internal processors running that bit longer.
Don’t fret if you can’t be there for the recording though as you can catch them on Youtube usually later that very night. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss them!
What changes would you like to see us make moving forward?
Taika Waitit's second Thor outing is baggy, messy, undisciplined...yes, funny... but frustratingly uneven and confused. It's not a bad film but it's nowhere near as cool, funny and clever as it thinks it is.
