TPToA Podcast 285 – The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

One fantasy show to rule them all, one fantasy show to find them, one fantasy show to bring them all and on Amazon prime TV… bind them in the land of streaming, where the shadows lie… Hang on there’s two big-budget, premium quality fantasy TV shows? Oh crap… Well this one if based on the grand daddy of all fan-fictions, the appendices to end all appendices: The Simarillion. though in this adaptation we’re calling it The Rings of Power.

Join us in this final alliance of elves, dwarves and hobbits (Dion, Peta and Quinny in no particular order) to see if these rings have real sticking power or if they’re a bit bent out of shape? Or have they been melted down by the dragons in their house?

As always, a glad and joyous thank-you goes to our community of elves, orcs, hobbits and wargs; the people who join in with the conversation on the Twitch stream, live and loud each Tuesday night at 7:30pm AEST. And an especially huge thanks to any of you kind enough to support us by chucking a tip in our jar via Ko-Fi, or subscribing on twitch… every bit helps us in our amateur jewellery making endeavours!

If you feel so inclined drop us a sub, The more subs we get the more Emotes You get! Every bit of your support helps us to build great towers, casting their shadow across the land!

Don’t fret if you can’t be there for the recording though as you can catch them on Youtube usually later that very night. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss them!

What changes would you like to see us make moving forward?

Grand-daddy TV Fantasy on a cinematic budget
It may suffer slightly from comparison to the other Dragon show, but this is High fantasy of the old style. Predictable in some ways surprising in others.
