Nobody went in to this film with more trepidation than our team, and yet we find ourselves in the extremely odd position of coming away from the film that’s taken nearly 9 years to get made… pleasantly surprised?
The Flash continues the DC Universe’s ongoing story (following on from Justice League, Black Adam and Shazam 2) and sends Ezra Miller‘s Barry Allen careening through tempestuous time-travelling shenanigans and into multiple multiversal messes. All the while the folks at Warner Brothers are desperately trying to work out how to reboot a universe, avoid a political shit-fight with a problematic star and still entertain a wide audience all in one film. Do they stick the landing? Listen in and find out!
